Although the original OE radiators are fine in terms of performance, they do seem to have a commom problem: the plastic side-caps are weak and seem to give up after a few years of service.
Specially when installing engine upgrades with higher pressure coolant systems,
this problem can pop up very quickly.
This radiator has the same dimensions and specification as the OE item, but it has TIG welded aluminium side-caps.
By welding these side-caps on, the radiator is able to withstand a higher pressure and will last longer!
